CHA Historic Ghost Walk

Following the success of the Clayton Historic Ghost Walk in 2019 and again last November, the Clayton Historical Association, Inc. has been looking forward to bringing this popular event back to the community.
As planning began for this year’s Ghost Walk, originally scheduled for October 31, CHA made the decision to move the event to Spring 2027.
The additional time will allow CHA to build on the success of previous years, expand the program, develop new stories from Clayton’s past, and recruit more community participants, actors and sponsors to help make the next Ghost Walk even more engaging and memorable.
“One of the things that makes Clayton special is the way our community comes together to share and celebrate our local history,” said Bruce Naegelen, CHA President. “By taking some additional time to prepare, we can expand the event while making sure the next Clayton Historic Ghost Walk delivers the quality historical and entertainment experience our community has come to expect.”
The recent America 250 Heritage Festival, held just a few weeks ago, once again demonstrated the community’s strong interest in local history. The response to that event has encouraged CHA to continue expanding its heritage programming and finding new ways to bring Clayton’s stories to life.
The Clayton Historical Association looks forward to sharing more details about the Ghost Walk in the months ahead, including the new date, historical characters and opportunities for community members to become involved.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Clayton Historic Ghost Walk in Spring 2027!
